(CNN)Donald Trump, a master of the insult, is finding himself the subject of quite a few.
Here are the most notable insults his 2016 rivals, late-night comedians, veterans and others are hurling his way.
"Feckless blowhard"
Iowa's
largest circulated newspaper, the Des Moines Register, called for Trump
to drop out of the presidential race in an editorial published Monday
night, calling him "'the distraction with traction -- a feckless
blowhard who can generate headlines, name recognition and polling
numbers not by provoking thought, but by provoking outrage."

"Jackass"
Republican
presidential candidate Sen. Lindsey Graham, who is a close friend of
Sen. John McCain, called Trump a "jackass," in an interview on CNN's
"OutFront."
"What
he said about John, I think, was offensive. He's becoming a jackass at a
time when we need to have a serious debate about the future of the
party and the country," Graham told CNN's Kate Bolduan. "This is a line
he's crossed, and this is the beginning of the end of Donald Trump ... I am really pissed."
"The closest he ever got to battle was a fight with Rosie O'Donnell"
On Monday's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on ABC, the late-night host addressed what he called Trump's "disastrous week":
"Can
you imagine being tortured for five-and-a-half years in a Vietnamese
prison camp," Kimmel began, "and then 42 years later the host of
'Celebrity Apprentice' -- a man who -- the closest he ever got to battle
was a fight with Rosie O'Donnell -- a man whose greatest wartime
accomplishment was brokering a peace treaty between Gary Busey and
Meatloaf -- belittles you -- and calls you a loser?"
"Cancer"
Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry's Opportunity and Freedom PAC is hosting a forum
Wednesday "to to discuss the role of conservatives in leading America
to a new era of prosperity." But apparently, one of the topics that will
come up is also, Donald Trump.
Perry tweeted a link to the event and compared Trump to a "cancer."
He likes "people who don't get cancer"
Comedian
Jon Stewart made fun of Trump on Monday's episode of "The Daily Show"
and likened Trump's attack on McCain for getting captured in Vietnam to
attacking someone for getting cancer.
"I
like people who don't get cancer. I like winners. Those are the people
whose bodies don't suffer from an uncontrollable division of abnormal
cells," Stewart said in a high-energy impression of Trump, complete with
hand motions and finger pointing.

"Your hair is not 'fine'"
Stewart proceeded to play a clip of Trump's interview with ABC's "This Week,"
in which he refused to apologize to McCain. Martha Raddatz asked Trump
whether he would continue insulting people if he becomes president.
"When
people attack me I let them have it back ... People are constantly
attacking my hair. I don't see you coming to my defense. My hair is just
fine," Trump said.
"First thing's first. Your hair is not fine," Stewart said.
"People
are not attacking your hair, they are defending themselves from
something that appears like it's about to attack them," Stewart
continued, as he ducked behind his desk.

"Reprehensible"
McCain's son, Jack McCain, a young Navy pilot called Trump's comments about his father "reprehensible."
However, in contrast with Rubio, he said that "Nothing in politics is disqualifying," in an interview with CNN's Jeff Zeleny.
"I hope his personality has shown through. Whether it was an offhanded
comment or not, if that's his true belief, then there needs to be some
serious soul-searching as to whether or not he is a viable candidate for
president," McCain said.

"Absurd"
Republican presidential candidate and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio called Trump's remarks about McCain "absurd."
"It's
not just absurd, it's offensive. It's ridiculous. And I do think it's a
disqualifier as commander-in-chief," Rubio said in an interview Sunday
with CNN's Jake Tapper on "State of the Union."
"Shameful"
Democratic
frontrunner Hillary Clinton called Trump's comments on McCain
"shameful," criticized the comments he made about Mexican immigrants and
joked about his hair Saturday at a dinner in Little Rock, Arkansas.
"Donald
Trump, finally a candidate whose hair gets more attention than mine,"
Clinton began, "But there's nothing funny about the hate he is spewing
at immigrants and families -- and now the insults he has directed at a
genuine war hero, Sen. John McCain."
"Vile"
Paul Rieckhoff, president of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, wrote a column in the New York Daily News Monday titled "Trump's vile comments on McCain an insult to all veterans."
"Trump's
asinine comments about Sen. John McCain's service are an insult to
everyone who has ever worn the uniform -- and to all Americans," writes
Rieckhoff.
